MAKATI CITY
- The City Government of Makati announces the extension of deadlines for the assessment and payment of business permits, licenses, and real property taxes, as provided under City Ordinance No. 2026-002.
-Assessment of Business Permits (without penalty): Extended until January 26, 2026 (originally January 20, 2026).
-Payment of Business Licenses (without penalty): Extended until February 2, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (originally January 20, 2026).
-Real Property Tax Collections: Taxpayers may avail of a 10% discount for payments until February 2, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This extension aims to provide taxpayers and business owners ample time to comply with city requirements. All other rules and regulations under existing laws remain in full force.

Hindi mapapatawan ng penalties at surcharges (applicable lamang sa mga negosyo na walang delinquencies) ang mga negosyo na magbabayad sa loob ng extension period. Samantala, hindi na covered sa extension period ang pagbibigay ng 5% discount sa business tax.
Kaugnay ng extension, bubuksang muli ang Online Business Permit Renewal and Payment System. Kaya para sa mga negosyo na updated ang accounts o walang delinquencies, maaari nang muli mag-renew ng permits sa pamamagitan ng Online System.
Nananatiling nasa Silver City 4 ang Mega Business One-Stop Shop para sa Business Renewal period. Para sa priority taxpayers (mga may-ari ng negosyo na senior citizens, persons with disability, at mga nagdadalang tao), maaaring mag-transact sa alinman sa mga sumusunod na transaction sites:
• Temporary Pasig City Hall (1/F)
• Pasig City Hall Annex 1 (3/F Ayala Malls The 30th)
• Pasig City Hall Annex 2 (3/F Robinsons Metro East)
Samantala, ang Mutya ng Pasig Mega Market renewal site ay para lamang sa mga rehistradong stall owners ng Mutya ng Pasig Mega Market.
Epektibo pa rin ang sumusunod na operating hours hanggang sa January 31, 2026:

• Maghanda rin ng notaryadong sworn declaration of gross sales o BIR returns sa nakalipas na taon kung saan nakadeklara ang kita o paglago ng inyong negosyo
• at ang huli ay ang community tax certicate o cedula na available sa ating municipio
Three-step process lang rin ito:
• Ipasa lamang ang mga nabanggit na dokumento, kung kumpleto na ay iaassess ang mga kaukulang fees at taxes para rito
• Pagkabayad ay agad rin itong ipoproseso at
• Saka hintayin na mairelease ang business permit at business plate
Ang renewal ng business permit ay nagpoproseso mula Lunes hanggang Biyernes ng 8AM-5PM.

ANGELES CITY
Mayor Lazatin extends deadline for business tax payment
ANGELES CITY—The city government under the administration of Mayor Carmelo "Pogi Lazatin" Jr. has extended the business tax payment for the permit renewals of existing business establishments without penalties until February 20, 2025.
Angeles City Vice Mayor Ma. Vicenta Vega-Cabigting signed Resolution No. 11634, S-2025 extending the period of renewing business permit in the city.
City Councilors Atty. Arvin Suller and Alexander Indiongco are the primary sponsors of the resolution for the extension of business permit renewal.
City Councilors Edgardo Pamintuan Jr., Jesus Sangil, Marino Bañola, Danilo Lacson, and JC Aguas also sponsored the said resolution.
Mayor Lazatin has strongly urged the City Council to pass the resolution to allow local businesses ample time to comply with the requirements in making their businesses legally operational within Angeles City.

The Business Permit and Licensing Division (BPLD) led by Enrico Romero accounted 9,474 business renewal applications as of January 16, 2025 where 3,376 permits or 35.6% are now issued.
Romero said the BPLD is expecting a substantial boost in their permit issuance until the end due to the tax payment extension.
"Mananatili pong mabilis ang proseso ng renewal at maging po ang mga new application ng ating mga business permit bilang suporta sa ating mga negosyante," Romero asserted.
The issuance and renewal of business permits in Angeles City shall take place in the BPLD office in Angeles City Hall Building in Pulung Maragul, Angeles City.
Among the documentary requirements for the renewal of application include: Barangay Clearance, Basis for Computing Taxes, Fees and Charges (Business Capitalization), and Community Tax Certificate.
Romero also reminded the renewal applicants that the Barangay Clearance requirement is now integrated in the BPLD office as long as occupancy permit is not required.
"Gusto po ni Mayor Lazatin na maging mabilis at convenient ang pagre-renew at issuance ng business permit para hindi po maantala ang daloy ng ekonomiya sa Angeles City," Romero added.
BPLD also reported 115 of permit issuance for new business applications as of January 16, 2025.

Please be informed that the City Government of San Fernando, through the Sangguniang Panlungsod Ordinance No. 2025-002, has extended the deadline for the Business Permit Renewal to February 6, 2025.
To recall, the initial deadline was January 20, 2025, and the extension aims to give business entities enough time to prepare the necessary documents needed for the renewal or registration of their permits.
Mayor Vilma Balle-Caluag acknowledges this measure—citing that the business sector will be provided with the needed relief while also vowing to continuously make San Fernando a business-friendly city.
